Integral Gardening deeply respects the entirety of our lived experience, including that which our contemporary culture so readily denies - the upper world of Sun and Spirit.  

The Western allopathic and many alternative modalities take a somewhat limited view of our world and our persons. This allows them great successes in a variety of areas, and yet they are missing a large part of the picture.

Utilizing time honored shamanic practices, Zayin's work encourages individuals to build relationships with the varieties of subtle influences and spiritual forces that help guide their lives. 

Working with awareness of the Sun we can find the spiritual cause of our dis-ease or the possibility of heretofore unimagined growth and transformation.  The shamanic aspect of Integral Gardening uses the basic structure below to explore the varieties of our spiritual lives...

  • Earth is where we plant seeds and grow our roots.
  • Water is our life's blood, the creative force inside.
  • Fire brings color, compassion, and leads the way.

Shamanism...
This is a word that has so many meanings it is almost too nebulous to be used in any functional way.  That said, it is the word that has found Zayin, and one that deeply informs his work.  Shamanism refers to various time honored techniques rather than to a specific tradition.  Shamanic practitioners are individuals who act as mediators between their communities and the diversity of subtle realities that they are in relationship with... they talk to spirits.  Zayin's work as an Integral Gardener deeply respects the variety of traditions that exist in the world today, yet is grown out of the contemporary culture into which he was born.

The Future Edge of Integrative Health Care...
Promising to bring about a new way of healing by placing the very best of traditional and contemporary modalities in the same conversation, integrative medicine points to a brighter future.  The use of the word shamanism points to some of the oldest and most time honored methods of healing known to us, methods used to build relationship with a world larger than what the eye can see.  Though these methods are not widely accepted within the contemporary Western world, Integral Gardening is an attempt to broaden our understanding of what healing and living might mean.  The future edge of integrative medicine lies somewhere within such conversations.

Zayin currently finds himself specializing in:

Babies - Zayin is currently working with many expecting parent helping them connect with their soon to be born child.
Nope to Hope -  Much of his work is with persons whom the Western allopathic model has not been able to help.  By finding the spiritual cause of physical and emotional dis-eases people  may be suffering from people move from nope to hope.
Spiritual Counseling - Many people who come to him with specific issues, and find themselves continuing the relationship as it supports their personal path towards spiritual growth and transformation.
Shamanic Training - A handful of people work with Zayin nurturing their nascent shamanic gifts.
